IT.HAS.ARRIVED.

It’s finally here, folks! The Kevin Smock collaboration with Spyderco has finally hit (some) stores and I happened to finally pick up my pre-order from KnifeJoy.com about a week ago. Today’s video is an in-depth look at the knife itself, discussion regarding the knife’s specs, comparison between a few other EDC knives I rotate, things I like about it, and things I felt could use some improvement. Do you have one? Do you plan on picking one up?

Check out the video below and let me know what you think of the Smock production knife from Spyderco!

How To: “Safely” Disassemble your Smith & Wesson M&P Pistol (+ No Trigger-Pull Method!)

***** Disclaimer: Always treat every firearm as if it is loaded! Be sure to exercise caution when handling ANY and ALL firearms *****

Well, it’s tax-return season and that means many people in the pro-gun community are going to be out shopping for some new firearms. Smith and Wesson’s M&P line remains a functional, reliable and (somewhat) inexpensive option. That being said, this video goes out to those looking for help on how to field strip their pistol. Here are two ways to safely field strip your M&P pistols, whether it’s the Full-Size, Compact or Shield – 1.0 or 2.0.

In fact, I’ll even show you how to field strip them without even pulling the trigger! And for those wondering, both firearms shown are guns I’ve purchased, modded, and carry – my M&P Shield 2.0 in 45acp, and my M&P 9c (the 1.0 version).

… so now the question is… what will your next fun purchase be? (Video Below)

Tangram Vector – Deep Carry Hack w/MXG Gear!

Don’t you just hate when a knife you love sits shallow in the pocket? Luckily, MXG Gear is here to save the day with a huge selection of plain, anodized, and textured clips for almost all of the major knife brands currently released. Unfortunately that still leaves a large portion of the knife models without an option if they come with a shallow clip. Jay @ TheKnifeBeater has been doing some homework with regards to clip compatibility, and after watching some of his videos, I found one that may work for some Kizer/Tangram models!

Gear Upgrade! WiHa/Cur Knives Bit Driver

The only thing better than a good knife is good equipment to keep it running 100%

That being said, here are two great options on opposite sides of the cost spectrum that I highly recommend for your EDC toolkit. The first one is the Wiha slim bit driver, and the other is a custom built driver and kit from Cur Knives – while both do the job, I gotta say that the Cur Knives bit driver has me spoiled!

Essential EDC “PayPal” Tips & Tricks !!

Whats new DCS crew – I use PayPal constantly to pay for my online purchases. It’s a great tool… but if you aren’t careful, your account funds can easily be frozen (or worse) for violation of the Terms of Service…

Simply put, you can’t technically sell and buy knives (and some EDC gear) with PayPal. BUT… there are ways to stay under the radar…AND I’m also gonna show you a feature to get your shipping money back should you have to send back items you don’t need.

Check out the video below for more info! 🙂
