Originally started in 2007, Olight began in Shenzhen, China. After tremendous success and growth in the international market, Olight now houses their US headquarters in Marietta, Georgia, which isn’t too far from where I currently live. They work diligently to fulfill their goal: to put an Olight in as many people’s hands as possible. Most importantly, it is apparent that they listen to their users, and are constantly updating their lines to provide new products for all kinds of use, as well as limited edition models available in short supply. So the question is asked: What do they have to offer?
With so many models to choose from, they break their flashlights into subcategories depending on usage, such as Series H (Headlamps), Series I (Keychain), Series M (Tactical/Military), Series PL (Firearm Lights), Series R (Rechargeable/Heavy Duty), Series S (EveryDay Use), Series SR (Search and Rescue), and Series X (Extreme Performance). They are known for their signature black stainless steel body and blue ring, but have also enhanced their product lines with Copper, Rose Gold, and Titanium offerings to add a bit of flair and uniqueness to your loadout. After all, variety is the spice of life!
It is my opinion that they are a very unique company with well thought-out products, and have been a pleasure to deal with whenever I have had questions about new/upcoming models.
